Vegetarian food and junk food onboard

Vegetarian food or burgers?

Not a very well-known fact about vegetarians is that most of them enjoy junk food a lot, but what happens to vegetarian food then? Happily each cruise line provides enough of junk food and even vegetarians on board can gain their five pounds, like everybody else. Vegetarian burgers are served on nearly every line and either Boca-type fake meat burgers or garden patties, fries or onion rings may be prepared and ate on cruise ship pool-deck barbecues.

All the main lines offer in vegetarian menus pizzas from either a station in the buffet or a dedicated pizzeria. Important for vegans - none make pizzas with tofu cheese or rennin-free cheese, but be sure that pizzas have special "don't ask, don't tell" place in the universe of vegetarian culture! The pizzerias at Carnival are open 24 hours. Costa Cruises and MSC Cruises make extraordinary good pies. Princess and Celebrity will also deliver fresh pies to passengers’ cabins in classic pizza boxes. Several other lines- Disney, Crystal, NCL, offer via standard room service, personal pies. There are also lines at the other end of spectrum, which have dedicated to healthy spa cuisine cafes. Aboard Century and Celebrity Millennium-class ships raw veggie platters, salads, vegetarian sushi, and fresh juices can be offered in the Spa Cafe.
